This spell is stupid expensive to cast, so non magic characters find lots of problems with this tactic. I later head into a bandit camp north of Whiterun where the Transmute spell tome is located. The first thing I do when I start the game is immediately start collecting Iron, Silver, or Gold ore. I play a mixed magic character, which is CRITICAL. It is a long term method and takes fullest form mid game. I have a wonderous way to train four skills at once and still profit from it. There are no spoilers to the Skyrim plot-line.
